“ Updated I was so excited thinking about enjoying the Christmas special while heading home after picking it up. As you recommended, I made sure to wait for about an hour before eating, so I stopped by a few other places to kill time and then started eating. Thats when I truly understood why Ajikiji is so popular! The quality and value for the price are just incredible! I dont think I could ever go back to spending 200300 on other omakase now! 1st Review A sushi takeout restaurant with omakase quality! The quality is definitely not inferior compared to other omakase places Ive visited, especially for the price, and the seasonal fish changes are fantastic. I recommend eating it after 30 minutes to an hour. ”
“ This takeout only shop offers an authentic sushi lunch bento box. I felt like I was walking into super minimalist jewelry shop. Sushi is well prepared and very fresh. They tell you to eat it within 30 minutes. It was a right amount of sushi for 10 pieces of nigiri and couple of rolls with pickles. I strongly recommend this place. ”
“ This was my SF food tour highlight. The attention to detail is what makes this place great. They take pride in the sushi and their customer service top notch. They had a sushi guide so you know what you were eating. The rice was insane. Perfectly cooked! Beautiful food, beautiful presentation. Ill be dreaming of Aji Kiji until Im back in SF. ”
“ We saw that there was no line on a Saturday afternoon so we got there salmon don. The salmon was ok for the price but their rice was delicious. This is definitely restaurant quality for 23 or 34 the price. I would recommend it to at least try! ”
“ There is so much to love about this place. Tasty rice. Excellent fish. Gorgeous presentations. Its take out and we ate a near by park. If you know that ahead of time you wont be disappointed except they sell out fast. I am sure this will be an outdated review soon enough but it is an excellent addition to our sushi scene. ”
“ Incredible takeout sushi! I came around 1pm on a Thursday and there were only 2 people in front of me in line. Super worth it for just above 50, I would recommend the Omakase set. ”
“ For toptier sushi freshness and the absolute best sushi rice, this is my to go place. This takeout spot consistently delivers incredibly delicious sushi. The fish is always vibrant and and the sushi rice is perfectly seasoned and textured every time. Its a cut above the rest. ”
“ Definitely feels like Michelin quality sushi. The Sake Don which has the melt in the mouth Salmon was my favorite. Highly recommend getting there at least 20 minutes before store opening as there are always long lines and they sell out very fast. Oh and I did appreciate the staff getting us some hot tea while we waited outside, thats was a nice touch. This is most certainly the best grab and go sushi that I have had in California! ”
